virtual support

An overnight newborn care specialist provides hands-on support during the night as your family transitions home from the hospital. During overnight care, I tend to your baby’s needs—feeding support, diapering, soothing, and safe sleep—while also observing sleep patterns and helping establish gentle, healthy sleep habits from the very beginning. My presence allows parents to get much-needed rest with peace of mind, knowing their baby is cared for by an experienced professional.

In addition to care, I educate and support parents by sharing insight into newborn behavior, feeding rhythms, and nighttime routines. By modeling best practices and offering guidance tailored to your baby, overnight support helps build confidence, reduce overwhelm, and create a strong foundation for restful nights ahead.

Overnight support

inquire to get started

When a strong foundation is established at night, daytime routines naturally fall into place. Consistent, well-supported nights help regulate your baby’s sleep–wake cycles, making daytime naps more predictable and restorative. With better sleep overnight, babies are better able to feed effectively during the day, stay comfortably awake between naps, and settle more easily, creating a smoother and more enjoyable daytime rhythm.

A solid nighttime foundation also supports consistent feeding schedules and age-appropriate routines, allowing parents to plan their days with greater confidence. When sleep, feeds, and routines work together, families experience calmer days, more successful naps, and a greater sense of balance and predictability—setting everyone up for long-term success.

love notes from past clients

"After 3 long weeks, I split ways with my initial sleep consultant and hired Becky. She is nothing short of AMAZING. We went from co-sleeping and nursing all night, to my baby girl sleeping through the night, in her own crib, in her own room. While every single nap took place in the Ergo, they now happen in the crib without a fuss. I cannot say it enough times - BECKY PFAFF is AMAZING ... The reason Becky was so great was because she is warm, extremely supportive and she never pushes. She conforms to your comfort level and your baby. Most importantly, she is responsive and incredibly available. She is the warm hug you need during this process. A good night's sleep is priceless. I truly feel Becky is unique and you will never regret your decision."

"Nothing short of amazing!"

- Michele

"Our 6-month-old had been waking at 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. to nurse for just a few minutes, and Becky gave us the confidence to gently guide her to sleep through the night. She reviewed her daytime milk intake, encouraged a bit more feeding during the day, and suggested moving bedtime an hour and a half earlier — and it worked immediately. The very first night, we simply held her instead of nursing, and she slept all night. Now if she wakes up in the middle of the night, she quickly finds her binky and soothes herself back to sleep. We are all sleeping better. Becky’s guidance was simple, supportive, and incredibly effective. Highly recommend!"

Our 30-minute call with Becky completely transformed our nights

"Becky's warmth, competence and humor were a lifesaver to me after my twins came home from the hospital. I couldn't have felt confident to manage them without her help and generally comforting presence in the house. She managed the babies with equanimity and good cheer. I couldn't recommend Becky enough- she's extremely knowledgeable, loving to the babies and a good friend to a post-partum mom! We all miss her at my house."

Lifesaver

- Tamar

"Thank you for all you've done for us and our family! As first-time parents of twins born in mid-November 2011, having you meet us the first night we arrived home from the hospital was like having a fairy-godmother come into our lives. It was one of the best gifts we ever gave ourselves and our children ... I still can't believe that they consistently started sleeping through the night at 10 weeks and, now that they are close to four months old, continue to do this on a regular basis. You clearly love what you do and we are so thankful to have had you share such a special time in our lives."

The Best Gift We Gave Ourselves

- Jamie and Steve

"As older, new parents, we wanted help so that Mom could recover from her C-section and to get our twins sleeping well by the time Mom went back to work. We also had little to no experience with babies, especially twins ... Becky's methods of implementing a schedule and helping with sleep training by putting extra effort in early in the game has made parenting in those earlier months easy, and that was just what we were looking for ... She was at our house the night we arrived home from the hospital, and quickly became part of the family ... Becky was with us a little bit over 3 months, and by the time her work with us came to end we wanted her to move in with us! We were afraid to say goodbye, because we came to depend on her knowledge and skills so much. But, as it turned out, she had trained us and our children to take care of one another and to work harmoniously as a family unit ... We highly recommend Becky Pfaff for all of your twins (and singleton) needs! She is the best investment that we've made in our family."

"part of the family"

- Hillary and Dan

"Becky Pfaff has been a Godsend to our family ... Becky loves her job and it shows ... I did not have much experience with infants, but was blessed with two and didn't have a clue how to handle the whole situation. Becky is not only a wealth of information, but she has taught me how to be a better mom. Out twins are almost sleeping through the night, which may graduate Becky out of our service, but she'll certainly remain part of our family. She is amazing and any family that hires her is very lucky and over time will be pleased they found her."

"a godsend"

- Mary

"Becky gave us our initial consult over the phone and a sleep plan via email. She has now coached us separately for both nighttime and naptime sleep. Within three nights (you read that right!), our daughter was sleeping comfortably through the night in her own crib ... We are, as a family, indebted to the assistance Becky has given us! I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend her for the initial consult, easy-to-follow sleep plan and text/email support during the initial stages of training. Once I understood that it was actually my husband and I who were getting trained, the entire enterprise made sense."

"We had the pleasure of meeting Becky this past summer after the birth of our first daughter. Being a first-time mom has truly been both the most joyful and rewarding experience, but, it has also been a time filled with lots of doubt and uncertainty. Regardless of the day of the week or time of day, Becky provided our family with constant support. Becky quickly became more to our family than just our daughter’s newborn care specialist; Becky became our friend and part of our family. By the end of our thirteen weeks, Becky had created a personalized schedule for our daughter that included both wake windows and naps, as well as provided our daughter with the skills to self soothe and sleep through the night. To this day, I still turn to Becky for guidance, reassurance, and she is one of the few people that I trust my daughter with. The smile that lights up my daughter’s face when she sees Becky fills my heart with so much gratitude and joy. My family and I highly recommend Becky! We miss having her at our home every night, but we are so excited for Becky to continue doing what she loves and making a difference for more families!"

love notes from past clients

"I would like to start by saying I wouldn’t do anything differently with my firstborn but would do some things differently with another baby. My husband and I were blessed with a daughter who initially slept—as a breastfeeding infant—through the night (by everyone’s definition) by sustaining 5 to 6 hours of sleep between feedings and as much as 12-13 hours of continuous sleep by three months of age. Somehow teething, vaccinations, and growth spurts led to sleep regressions and the regular habit of cosleeping. I remember during the early days of parenting, reading a warning about rocking a baby to sleep completely before setting her down in her bassinet or crib. At the time, it was so easy, so I didn’t heed the warnings. Next thing I know, we have a 15-month-old who can’t settle down after bedtime, is waking up regularly at night for a 10 p.m. feeding and ending up in our bed every single night. That’s when we called Becky. Becky gave us our initial consult over the phone and a sleep plan via email. She has now coached us separately for both nighttime and naptime sleep. Within three nights (you read that right!), our daughter was sleeping comfortably through the night in her own crib. Most notably, Becky showed us how soothing herself initially to sleep was critical; Becky’s question in our initial discussion was, “How would you like to go to sleep in one location and always wake up in another?” Even if it was feet away, in someone’s arms? Not very much. After becoming proficient at nighttime sleep, we transitioned to naps. Our daughter had never slept for more than 20 minutes in her crib during the day! Every nap had been on my lap, in the car, and rarely on our bed. Again, after a few days, our daughter began sleeping daily in her crib for one healthy, toddler nap. Now our daughter is proudly falling asleep in her own crib for daily naps and at night with very rare intervention from us. My husband and I are regaining stability and intimacy with our own sleep and in our marriage. We have even gone out on a date after she went to bed and had grandparents replicate our bedtime ritual successfully. We are all much happier, better rested, and healthier because of the help from Becky Pfaff. I’d read about many of these strategies, but we’d never been able to implement any of the cry-it-out methods. Becky’s techniques regarding comforting and consoling at very regulated intervals made the sleep training manageable for us.
